Through the miniature horses and my Horse Health Products I have been blessed to have met some amazing friends. I have always thought about why God brings people in and out of our lives. Some just visit and seem to enlighten us with our needs at that time in our life. While others we meet, whether through email or face to face, open our eyes to our past, present, and future.
With that being said, let me tell you about one of those people...I won't use names. I will just call her Friend. Friend and I met through my Horse Health Products. She had been buying from a large supplier and was getting a better deal. But, she had been in business for herself and decided to support my small business. Through the contacts concerning Body Builder, we became friends. We learned that we have a lot in common. Our family beliefs and love of horses just to name a few.
Friend had owned a website with her small business, but had sold it along with the building and inventory. She has beautiful horses that she shares with her community and children in 4H in her area. So we started a website to showcase her horses.
I cannot tell you what a joy that it was for me building the website. I found that I could express their feelings and farm with my writing. I was using a gift that God blessed me with to benefit someone and their horses. Most of you who know me, know that there is nothing that I wouldn't do for a horse. I was a late bloomer and didn't even own a horse until I was thirty something. But, I was lucky enough to find my passion at that point of my life. And, I was lucky enough to have been blessed with Friend. It was through designing her website that I remembered a Gift that I enjoyed. A gift that I had not used in a long time. So remember this, the gifts that God gives us don't go away because we get busy doing other things and don't use them. What a blessing!
Moral of this story...Be aware of everyone who comes in and out of your life. Meet everyone with your eyes and ears open to God's gifts and plan! While some may stay for just a few moments, others stay to help you to realize your dreams.
